Initiative to acquire lorry simulators and versatile software applications in Finland.

The Investigation Commission recommends that the Ministry of Trade and Industry launch a project included e.g. in the research and development programmes of the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation Tekes to acquire lorry simulators and versatile software applications in Finland. These simulators could be used to train drivers to control different vehicle combinations in difficult road weather conditions in basic and advanced training.
