The Investigation Commission recommends that the manufacturers of coach and bus bodies more emphatically than now offer their customers portable or semi-automatic fixed fire extinguishing systems. To increase the attractiveness of the systems the insurance companies should take the extinguishing system into account in the form of discounted insurance premiums or lower excess in the case of a fire.
