Using public health care for care after major accidents abroad and in Finland

The Ministry of Social Affairs should see to it that: 1) together with other actors, public health care is integrated in the aftercare of major accidents and disasters occurring abroad or in Finland. As the key expert in medical treatment, the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS) must be included in the planning of treatment and must be given adequate resources for this activity,
