Juha Sepponen appointed Administrative Director of Safety Investigation Authority, Finland

Mr. Juha Sep­po­nen, Mas­ter of Laws with court train­ing has been ap­pointed Ad­min­is­tra­tive Di­rec­tor of Safety In­ves­ti­ga­tion Au­thor­ity, Fin­land (SIAF) from 1 March 2023.

Mr. Sepponen is currently employed as a senior specialist at Crisis Management Centre Finland. Sepponen has served as an expert in international crisis management duties, and as Senior Officer, Legal Affairs and Lead Senior Officer, Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Defence.

Twenty-nine people applied for the position of Adminstrative Director of Safety Investigation Authority, Finland within the application period.

The Administrative Director is tasked with the high-quality and effective planning and implementation of Safety Investigation Authority Finland’s administration, finances and operations in cooperation with the Executive Director. The Administrative Director provides support in safety investigations and serves as the Executive Director’s deputy.
