Y2018-01 Collapse of a roof in the Duudsonit Activity Park in Tornio on 15 March 2018

The Safety Investigation Authority of Finland will initiate an investigation under Section 2 of the Safety Investigation Act (525/2011) into the collapse of a roof at the Duudsonit Activity Park in Tornio on 15 March 2018.

Fire chief and M.Sc.A. Jaakko Niskala will be the head of the investigation team and the members will be Juha Siegberg (MSc. Eng.); Toni Kekki, Construction Engineer (MSc. Tech.) and Veikko Alaviuhkola, Police Sergeant (retired). Chief Safety Investigator Kai Valonen of the Safety Investigation Authority will serve as the Investigator-in-Charge.
