C10/​2010L Aborted take­off of an Air­bus A340 on a taxi­way in Hong Kong on 26 No­vem­ber 2010

The investigation into the serious incident, which took place at Hong Kong international airport when an aircraft initiated takeoff from a taxiway on 26 November 2010, is completed. Four recommendations based on the safety investigation were addressed to the Finnair Oyj. Three of them were implemented during the investigation. One recommendation was given to the Finnish Transport Safety Agency and one recommendation to the Hong Kong air traffic control.
