Incident

Completed

On Thursday 6 June 1996, two meeting passanger trains were running on the same single-track line on the section between the Kirkkonummi and Siuntio stations. This was due to a wide-area train dispatcher allowing one train to pass a light signal forbidding the proceeding. As the remote-control operator inquired about the exceptional track reservation, the train dispatcher in question realized his mistake, and by using a line-radio, just succeeded to stop the trains before the occurrence of any eventual damage.
