M/V BOANN (FIN), collision in the Klaipeda harbour on 8 April 2019 (M2019-A1)

Referring to Article 7 of the EU Directive 2009/18/EC and Section 12 of the Safety Investigation Act (525/2011), the Safety Investigation Authority of Finland has decided to appoint an authorised representative to assist the safety investigation initiated by the Lithuanian safety investigation authority (TAID) concerning the collision of M/V Boann (FIN) with a floating dry dock in the Klaipeda Harbour in Lithuania on 8 April 2019.

The authorised representative appointed to the investigation is Safety Investigator Ilkka Kervinen of Safety Investigation Authority, Finland.
