Determining the cause of bus and lorry fires and creating reason statistics

The Investigation Commission recommends the Finnish Motor Insurers’ Centre (LVK) or Motor Insurance Companies Loss Prevention Ltd. (VAT) organize the investigation of the cause of fire of coaches, buses and lorries in such a say that an attempt is made to find out the cause of all fires in the previously mentioned vehicles and statistics on the reasons is compiled. The investigation could be carried out in the whole country by the same persons in order to increase their professional skills and experience.
