Education about swimming in maternity clinics, early childhood education programmes and in school health care

In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health should ensure that guidance centres and early childhood education programmes emphasise the dangers of water, communicating to parents the importance of children gaining familiarity with water, the significance of teaching children how to swim and the need for supervision.
