Ergonomics and structural safety of sauna heaters

The National Electrotechnical Standardisation Organisation SESKO promote the safety requirements for electric sauna heaters provided in technical standards in such a manner that unintentional use of operating controls is prevented and their operating logic and ergonomics are improved. In addition, the structural safety requirements of the heaters shall be developed to avoid overheating of the heater and ignition of the sur-rounding structures, regardless of the actions of the user.
