Planning of rescue services for sites with residents or patients with impaired functional ability

The planning of rescue services must be realized in all targets in which the safety of the residents or patients is compromised, due to their reduced abilities, in case of a fire, and when rescue actions by the personnel and the fire brigade is required. The assessment of the fire brigade’s actual readiness to operate (the total operational preparedness time from the ignition of the fire to the rescuing of the last person to be rescued using the available resources) and the rescue service requirement analysis based on the assessment as well as often enough performed common exercises with the target (e.g. at least every three years) are included in the planning.
