Finavia Corporation’s Critical Incident Stress Management personnel have not been augmented. There are too few trained support personnel within the system and, therefore, peer support is often missing. Defusing sessions are not held because they have not become an integral part of the units’ activities.
Recommendation
Safety Investigation Authority, Finland recommend that Finavia Corporation reassess the training, implementation and updating of its present Critical Incident Stress Management system.
