In the case of SA3 automatic coupler draft clips without screw holders, the hex screws supporting the bolted key can slide out of place when the nut is missing. In the version with the screw holder, the head of the hex screw enters the holder, preventing the screw from sliding and falling off when the nut is detached. Only a fraction of all SA3 automatic coupler draft clips have no screw holder.
