Thermal exposure to the rocket motors of pyrotechnical systems is a key fac-tor in determining the risk posed by the system. It is impossible to evaluate the degree of thermal exposure without appropriate indicators.
Recommendation
Safety Investigation Authority, Finland recommends that the Finnish Transport Safety Agency make thermal exposure indicators pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 216/2008, Annex II, compulsory for pyrotechnical systems.
