Instruction on the initial inspection of a safety management system

The Finnish Transport Safety Agency will create detailed written instructions on the initial inspection needed to grant temporary certificates for a safety management system. Moreover, a light intermediate inspection during the transitional period is needed to ensure that the vessels adhere to good safety management practices during the transitional period.
